SUPER IMPORTANT POST I'M BEGGING YOU TO READ!

Hey, it's Breeze here. OK, so I've researched since the beg. of 2008 and have decided this: The most logical and likely choice for retirement this year is MOLLY AND EMILY.

I nearly cried just figuring this out, and here why:

  • Molly was my first AG doll, she started it for me, I LOVE HER SO MUCH! She's IMO the cutest AG doll ever, she's super unique and adorable with her silver glasses and beautiful gray eyes, I love her argyle sweater on her, her little Mary Janes are adorable, and her face melts you! Her braids are tough to handle but who cares, she's adorable and besides her braids have character and are super adorable!
    • Emily was my 4/5/6th doll, as I got her X-mas 2008 along with Sammie and Kirsten, and I love everything about her, from her light auburn hair with honey blonde highlights and aqua blue eyes and creamy skin
      • I only have their tap dance outfits
        • To me, they're AG's heart and soul
          • I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM BOTH!!!!!!!!!
            • It would kill me to see them retire

And honestly, no offense to any other BFF sets, but they are my FAVES of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going insane, I know, but all the outfits I purchase from AG this year (even before they announce the retirement) I'm going to buy.

Anyway! Below is a list of colors they both look great in!

              MOLLY:
              Red
              Dark Blue
              White
              Polka Dots
              Peter-Pan Collars

              EMILY:
              Light Blue
              Yellow
              Green
              Off-White/Ivory
              Cardigans w/ Buttons
              Patterned Dresses

I plan to get all of Molls & Emily's collection here, not including furniture. (Some of) My favorite outfits are:

              Emily's Holiday Outfit
Molly's Evergreen Dress (well since my AG craze it's been called her Holiday Dress but to me it's always gonna be the Evergreen Dress)
              Emily's Pajamas
              Molly's Pajamas
              Molly's NEW Polka Dot Outfit

If they do retire them, I'm going to start a petition:

http.//www.petitionspot.com/savemollyandemily or /welovemollyandemily I'll give link at a later date

Also, at a much later date, I will begin a post where you can comment about your personal Molly and Emily memories. It'll stay open for commenting FOREVER so bring up the comments!!!!!

Extension: Maybe you should start emailing and writing AG right now to stop retiring our precious, beloved, dolls that are like our own family! For example, the first American Girl movie I saw was Molly's (this was before I had Emily but after I got Molly) movie, we saw it so many times my parents said it was like Molly was our family PLUS she thought we owned it! Yes, start the touch NOW!!!!!!!!! If I didn't already have Molls and Emily (Molls is Molly's nickname...I made it up at the beg. of 2009) I would get them both like right now!!!!!!!!! Molly has the sweetest expression, she looks different from the other original mold dolls, her glasses are sturdy and silver-lined and look positively adorable and Molls is SUCH a sweetheart dolly, her books are great reads, have great illustrations, and are super inspiring. Did I mention Molls is my FAVE DOLL EVER and MOST ADORABLE EVER and such a precious sweetheart of a cutie pie!!!!!!!!!!!! Now onto Emily.....Emily is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO precious cute and ABSOLUTELY beautiful gorgeous, her eyes are a deep sea blue like ocean water or beautiful blue sky, her skin is the color of ivory cream, her hair is simple, shoulder-length, and gingery-red when placed in sunlight, has honey blonde highlights the same colors of JLY #21's hair, and her meet dress layers beautifully with her pale blue eyes and creamy skin, not to mention that gorgeous soft silky AUBURN HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!! High Photogenic Cutie Tip: Dress both dolls in their meet outfits, and put them on a simple-colored background (for me, a brown leather couch) and pose them together. Some poses include one doll with her arm around the others' shoulder, one leaning with her mouth near the others' ear as if she is whispering a secret, chicken fight (my fave! LOL!) which means standing up one doll and sitting the other doll on her shoulders, shaking hands, or just twirling around holding hands.

Extension 2: If you have one or both of these absolutely lovably precious cuties, made a video on YouTube or for your blog! Dress them in any cute outfits from their collections and start the video. Begin saying what AG *will do* is wrong! First Samantha, then Kirsten, now MOLLY?! (IMO, Molly is the best of the Original Three and all of the historical characters, but so is Josefina, and Emily is the best of all the BFF's) and prove your point. Also, don't forget about my petition! I'm planning on starting it early so we can drum up an extra few signatures, but my mom said now is too early. So I guess I'll start it around April...Anyway, if you are a reader of my blog (no one but I'm on Doll Diaries as Winter Wish so yeah) PLZ PLZ I'm begging you sign my petition!!!!! The URL remains unknown, between http://www.petitionspot.com/savemollyandemily or /welovemollyandemily So BYE 4 now!!!

Extension 3: American Girl never should've started retiring dolls!!!!!!! First Samantha & Nellie, then Kirsten, then Felicity & Elizabeth!!! This is ridiculous!!! 2/3 of the original three and their BFFs have been retired!!!!!!!! We can't let this happen to Molly and Emily, AG's Idol Historical Character BFFs!!! Molly's story tells, ultra-interesting, about an average American girl growing up in 1944, during World War Two, with her older brother, little brother, older sister, and mom, while her dad is far away at war, caring for wounded soldiers. Emily's story, a story of bravery, tells about a timid, polite British girl from war-torn England coming to stay with Molly's family until her Aunt Primrose gets over her pneumonia in a nearby hospital. For heaven's sake, if you want money, why not retire Kit & Ruthie??? (No offense at all to Kit lovers, fans, or followers, this isn't personal) I know they haven't been out long, but seriously! Many children have American Girl Dolls and are becoming homeless, and they shouldn't have to have a constant reminder of their homelessness (you know, Kit during the Great Depression? Ring a bell?) I mean, for every girl, it's impossible no matter what to forget about your dad being at war, or just plain gone, so if you have a Molly and/or Emily doll, it'll make no difference in your emotional attitude. Poor Molls, they never even gave her Susan & Linda dolls!!!!!! I know, an Emily doll is A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
but still....more dolls (like Chrissa with Gwen and Sonali) for Molly's collection would be heartwarming and technically a replica of her story. I mean, Susan the cheerful dreamer and Linda the practical schemer = MUST for dolls!!!!!!!!! Four dolls for one collection may seem like to much, but Molly deserves it!!!! She deserves an award for being purely, completely, undeniably unique!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, she's the only Original Three to hold up without retirement for now what's 25 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BRAVO MOLLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *claps claps claps claps claps claps claps claps claps claps claps claps claps claps claps claps and claps some more* WOOT GO MOLLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK, back to bad stuff. Retirement. The dreaded word, as meaningless and gossipy as a raspy whisper shredded across tears. As cold and stiff as Mia's marked-up ice. As horribly painful as a sharp-needled shot, or a sudden jolt of power outlet electricity. As tearily read as the world's saddest death story. OK, back to business. If Molly retires, I will be making at least 3 petitions! I'll be commenting on Doll Diaries as Winter Wish, BTW.

AGD Academy

Hey its Breeze....again.

Quickie news! I'm starting AGD Academy, aka American Girl Doll Academy. My dolls (Molly, Janie, Nellie, Samantha, Emily, Kirsten, Chrissa, Rebekkah, Sonali, Gwen, and Lanie renamed Alexis aka Lexi) are going to study American Girl doll facts, Pleasant Company history, etc. I'll make pop quizzes and long tests for them, so they have to memorize lots and once a month present a presentation about facts of a certain doll. Bye!

Alexis!!!!!!!!

OK, it's Breeze. I have quickie news!

MY FUTURE DOLLS:
Marie Josefina Sarita Montoya
Aduke Liefde Walker
Julianne Rosalie Albright (possible)
Kaya'aton'my (possible)
Alexis "Lexi" Erica Richard (JLY #19, or JLY #25, probably JLY #19)

LEXI INFO!

If #25: Lexi's Mom is originally from Scotland, but her Dad is Filipino so that makes her Filipino-Scottish. Her family lived in The Philippines (she was born there too) but after her little sister Polly got kidnapped, they decided it was too dangerous in their neighborhood. They escaped, disguised, on an airplane, undercover, a bit before midnight. They currently live in a small apartment in San Diego. She is resourceful and clever. B-day: March 14

If #19: Lexi's family is French from her Mom's side and Irish from her Dad's side. She's been used to being wealthy and spoiled, so when her dad's bank goes bankrupt and a robber takes their money and gold, she learns that many people are less fortunate and she shouldn't expect to be spoiled. She is upbeat and creative. B-day: November 30

Anyways! I'm super excited about the Julie Musical Movie or whatever debut next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EEEE!!!!!!!!!!! If I get Julie I'll watch it with her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna have a Julie photoshoot for each of her books: Meet Julie, Julie Tells Her Story, Happy New Year, Julie, Julie and the Eagles (I think), Julie's Journey, and Changes for Julie. Here's the cast:

Julie Albright as herself
Gwendolyn Thompstone as Tracy
Kristalyne (Chrissa) Fleming as Ivy Ling (I don't have any Asian dolls =(, maybe I'll consider Ivy a choice, YEAH!)
Samantha Parkington as Ms. Albright
Nellie O'Malley as Mr. Albright

IDK the rest.

But PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE tell me in comments, I'm begging you, which do you prefer, and which do you think I listed better reasons for?

Kaya: Since I have Kirsten and will surely be getting Josie and Addy, aka Forgotten Four group, I think I should get Kaya. I also want to get her because I've wanted her since 2007, when my AG love began, and she's really pretty and her collection is simply cute, realistic, and to the point.

Kaya says: VOTE 4 KAYA!

Julie: My parents are from the 70s and conicedentially (sorry for spelling) also LIVED IN CALIFORNIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, Julie has some supercute outfits and I love her pet bunny Nutmeg and I actually like her books.

Julie says: VOTE 4 JULIE!

And below are doll stories.

When I got my first AGC in November 2007, I kept flipping constantly (I remember in less then five days, the catalouge was already torn almost to bits) through it and had three certain faves: Molly, Josefina, and JLY #25.

Somehow #25 got crossed off the list, and it was between Josie and Molly. My parents decided (without telling me, I <3 surprises) to get Molly. You have no idea how excited I was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got her for Christmas 2007, I nearly wet my pants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D

Then 2008 came. Sometime in the year, I wanted another AG doll. I decided by myself to get Mia, so I did. When she came, I was dancing with joy!!!!!

Then they announced Sammie & Nellie's retirements. I was extremely panicked, and my parents said if I let them pull my tooth out I got get another doll. I cooperated, and chose Nellie. It seemed like centuries until I came home from school and my dad told me Nellie had come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then it was Christmas time. I chose three dolls-- GUESS WHO! From my dad's sister I asked for Emily, from Santa I asked for Kirsten, and from my parents I asked for Samantha. I got all of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Soon it was 2009; on the AG website I immediately fell in love with Chrissa but I was completely unsure about Sonali and Gwen. In April, I was to AGP in NYC and hand-picked the perfect, most gorgeous Chrissa there! (I went through like six boxes). EEE! =D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then I went to AGP in Boston!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got two dolls, Gwen and Sonali, in October, and they were Christmas presents. It was SOOOOOO exciting, even though I hand-picked both ;) :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New Doll Names!

Hey its me Breeze!

Below I'm listing doll names I will get:

Julianne "Julie" Lynn Albright
Marie Josefina Sarita Montoya
Alexis "Lexi" Campbell Richards (JLY #25)
Emma "Emmi" Brianna Cooke (JLY #27)

There is one we may not be getting (IDK who yet).

Lexi is an indivualist-type English-Filipino girl. She is considered by everyone around her the loner, and she is not a people/doll person. Note: You can't tell me Filipino people can't be white, cuz I am both! Her personality is Independent.

Emmi is a cheerful and friendly fun girl. She loves helping, and she keeps her space clean and very tidy. She also is very creative--she writes, draws, and makes crafts frequently. Her personality is Creative.
