I heard that maybe in April next year AG will come out with a new historical character. That's exciting, I heard it in a YouTube video.....that's good news. She has strawberry blonde hair, black-lined glasses, freckles, and a very cute outfit. I'll re-name her Abagail. Her name is Megan.I WANT HER NOW. Her books are Meet Megan, Megan's Project, Megan's misltoe, [something like that], Megan and the party, Megan and the scottsman, and Changes for Megan. Her BFF is Andrea.

well, somebody commented on there....which is good news.....but what they said was...

I can't believe Megan Duger will be from 2004 and be a historical character! :0 She might as well be Kailey's friend.

Well, actually the name 'Chloe' has been trademarked. She is supposed to be a Creole girl at the time of the Louisiana Purchase. American Girl has thought about retiring Molly and Emily, but then they said it most likely won't happen. And if Chloe does come out, it won't be until 2 years because AG releases Historical Characters every 2 years. I don't think that they would make a 2004 Historical Character because that is too much like today, but who knows! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, Breeze, you can't really trust YouTube about stuff like this. Think about it...2004 was only 5 years ago. Why would they make a historical from that time? Also, I do think they will retire Molly and Emily soon, but when I sent AG an email about it they said that they weren't planning any retirings right now. Megan Duger might be cute, but here is the thing: it was first published on Wikipedia, where ANYONE can edit pages. And then the person who did it said it was fake. Please don't count on Megan. :(
